Event Coordinator Role Description
The Isle of Wyrms Event Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, assisting and running events in IoW.
IoW Events may be put together and executed by either an IoW volunteer or the Event Coordinator.
Whoever is in overall charge of the event will be called the Event Planner.
The Event Coordinator will work to assist the main Event Planner in anyway they need assistance.
Event Coordinator will make sure that the events gets posted to the following locations: Small Talk Calendar, IoW Calendar, IoW Blog, IoW Facebook page, and IoW Event boards in the Games Area, Welcome Center and Information Center.
The Event Planner will create an event check list and submit it to the Event Coordinator for posting to the following groups as info updates: Isle of Wyrms Contributors, Isle of Wyrms Guardians, and Isle of Wyrms Conference Hall.
The Event Coordinator will provide assistance to the Event Planner as needed during the pre-event planning, in procuring additional assistance and equipment for the event.
The Event Coordinator will work with the DJ Manager to secure music for the event, if needed.
The Event Coordinator will, whenever possible, attend the planned event to assist as needed.
